ECHO Instruments d.o.o. (hereinafter: the Operator) respects the privacy of everyone who visits our website (hereinafter: the User). The acquisition, processing and use of data are carried out in accordance with the legal provisions on the protection of personal data.

We collect personal data for the purpose of processing and use only if, as a user of our websites, you voluntarily decide to provide us with such data, or you therefore give us your explicit consent. In such cases, you agree to the terms of use in question.

The Operator ensures a high level of protection of personal data and undertakes steps to carefully store and use all received personal data stated in writing or received through the forms on this website only for the purpose of informing about our news, activities and events (e-news), and data analysis. In order to improve the quality of our products and services and for statistical purposes, in connection with the e-mails we send you, we also process data on the display of received messages and clicks on links in received messages.

If you provide us with personal information voluntarily, we will not use, process or pass on such information to third parties to an extent beyond the legally permitted framework or your consent. In addition, we will only provide your information if we are required to do so on the basis of formal requests or court orders.

The User is responsible that all data provided is true and accurate. The Operator is not responsible for the consequences of untrue data.

Website traffic data

When you visit our website, certain data is automatically stored on our servers for the purpose of website traffic analysis and system management. Our chosen service for website traffic analysis starts to collect data only if you agreed to the use of analytical cookies. This data includes:

E-news (newsletter)

For those who subscribe to our e-news (newsletter), we collect:

  • your e-mail address,
  • chosen areas of interest for the newsletter,
  • device type, browser name and version and a partial IP address from which the user has confirmed consent to the use of data for notification,
  • as well as the date and time of opening the sent messages and the date and time of clicking on the links in the messages for the newsletter subscribers.

Personal data retention time

The Operator keeps your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose of sending the content to which you have signed up or ordered. In the event that you no longer wish to receive our content and unsubscribe from it, or in the event that you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for this purpose, we will block your data and will no longer use your data for this purpose.

Plug-ins for social networks 

Plugins for social networks such as Facebook, X (ex Twitter), YouTube, etc. may be included on our website. These services are offered by external companies (eg Meta (Facebook), X, Google,… - hereinafter: Providers). 

With the help of plug-ins, each Provider receives information about which of our websites you have accessed. If at the time of visiting our website you are logged in with your user account to e.g. Facebook, this Provider can find out what content you access with your user account. In case of interaction with plug-ins (eg if you press the "like" button or if you submit a comment), your browser forwards this information to the servers of a certain Provider, where this information is stored. 

If you do not want e.g. Facebook visit our website linked to your user account of this Provider, you must log out of the social network Facebook before visiting our website.

The Operator reserves the right to make errors on all its websites, both in the pictorial and textual part, and does not assume responsibility for them.
